Rav, I love this so much. I can deeply relate. In my late-20s, I made that conscious decision to embody the energy of Dionysus, after a lifetime of embodying Apollo and, I'd say, Phobos. Was one of the best gifts I ever gave myself. Cheers to your 20s! You only have 'em once! 🥂

At 13 the public school older chicks stunned me with attention on a youth group beach trip. I found a way out of private school, and had clean fun with new friends at the high school where I knew lots of kids from youth sports. THE COLLEGE PLAN began failing, since I had never studied, and my AP classes required constant focus. My folks were told I was bipolar, might kill myself, and put me on meds. Forty years, an insightful but opportunistic wife, and five kids later, God showed me some things. Vocational turmoil is not overcome by harder work. Alienation from family and friends is natural, since they don't walk in my shoes. The responsibilities the come with the blessings of children are too big for me to carry, but Jesus Christ never leaves those who placed their trust in Him. Now the freedom I enjoy is a path to growth because of the Security and Power of God's love. His promise to nourish and cultivate the seed He planted in me gives wind to my passions. I lean into His purpose expecting the best and willing to bow to the challenge, and get stronger as I go. Just remember that experimentation will teach you, but all of us are susceptible to error, because of our own tendency to react wrongly to the unexpected. With God, the ethic and the relationship to live more fully and be surprised by life's expanse gets better as you go forward.
