3. Take, for example, Stanford’s Dr. Jay Bhattacharya (@DrJBhattacharya) who argued that Covid lockdowns would harm children. Twitter secretly placed him on a “Trends Blacklist,” which prevented his tweets from trending.

Why?

As everyone following the discourse knows, Dr. Bhattacharya has been among the most honest, rational (and economically considerate) public health experts throughout the course of the pandemic. In his infamous Great Barrington Declaration, he advocated for focused protection of the elderly and resumption of normal activities for the majority of Americans.

Moreover, he has been a responsible advocate of mRNA vaccines for the most vulnerable, elderly groups while being fearlessly honest about the negligible benefits in young, healthy people — and the serious harms and deeply concerning unknowns.

Unlike dishonest, misinformed “experts” like Dr. Nicholas Christakis, Jay has been a vigorous opponent of vaccine mandates on the basis of bioethics, civil liberties, and vaccine ineffectiveness.
